Notes
- Chicken size matters: Try to cut the chicken into even-sized pieces so they cook evenly. Smaller pieces will cook faster and get crispier.
- Don’t skip the spray: A light mist of cooking spray helps achieve that golden-brown crunch. Use an oil spray without propellants to protect your air fryer.
- Breadcrumb tips: Panko breadcrumbs give a lighter, crispier texture than traditional breadcrumbs. For extra crunch, toast them briefly in a dry pan before using.
- Ranch seasoning: You can use a store-bought ranch packet or make your own with dried parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Parmesan quality: Use freshly grated Parmesan if possible—it melts and crisps up better than pre-shredded.
