Description
Succulent shrimp cooked in a rich, garlicky Parmesan cream sauce—this easy one-skillet dinner is packed with flavor and ready in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients
For the Shrimp:
1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
For the Sauce:
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced or pureed
1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
1/2 cup chicken broth (or white wine)
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Garnish:
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions

Toss shrimp with paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl until evenly coated.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Sear shrimp 2–3 minutes, flipping halfway. Remove and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Stir in broth or wine. Simmer 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.

Add heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 3–4 minutes until thickened.

Return shrimp to skillet. Coat with sauce and simmer 1–2 more minutes.

Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot with pasta, rice, or bread.
Notes
- For added veggies, toss in spinach, sun-dried tomato, or bell pepper.
- Best served immediately. Avoid freezing due to cream content.
