Description

This crockpot garlic butter beef bites and potatoes recipe is an easy, one-pot dinner featuring tender beef stew meat and buttery potatoes cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce. No fuss, just flavor!

Ingredients

2 pounds beef stew meat

pounds baby Yukon gold potatoes, halved

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 teaspoons seasoned salt

1 tablespoon garlic, chopped

5 tablespoons butter, cut into pads

Instructions

  1. Place beef stew meat on one side of the crockpot and halved baby potatoes on the other.

  2. Sprinkle onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoned salt evenly over both sections.

  3. Gently toss beef to coat in seasoning, keeping it mostly separated from potatoes.

  4. Add chopped garlic evenly on top.

  5. Place butter pads across the top of the beef and potatoes.

  6. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until beef is fork-tender and potatoes are soft.

  7. Spoon garlic butter sauce from the bottom over everything before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add sliced carrots or mushrooms for variety.
  • For a creamier twist, stir in a splash of cream before serving.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days, or freeze for 2 months.
