Ingredients
Chicken Thighs:
- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
Marinade:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- Juice of 1 lemon
Garnish:
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Mix Marinade: Combine olive oil, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, paprika, turmeric, salt, black pepper, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Marinate Chicken: Coat chicken thighs with marinade, refrigerate for 30 minutes to overnight.
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Bake Chicken: Arrange chicken skin-side up on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Broil: Broil for 2-3 minutes for crispy skin.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with cilantro and serve.
Notes
- For spicier flavor, add cayenne pepper.
- Adjust marinating time for more or less intensity.
- Best reheated in the oven to keep skin crispy.
