Soft sliders packed with turkey, melting Swiss, and Dijon—finished with a buttery glaze and served with berry preserves. A perfect mix of savory and sweet!

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders

Ingredients

Hawaiian Rolls:

  • 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian rolls

Deli Turkey:

  • 12 slices deli turkey

Baby Swiss Cheese:

  • 6 slices Baby Swiss cheese

Dijon Mustard:

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (adjust to taste)

Egg Mixture:

  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional: powdered sugar for topping
  • Optional: strawberry or blackberry preserves for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray an 11‑inch rectangular baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Slice Rolls: Slice the roll pack in half horizontally with a serrated knife, keeping rolls connected as top and bottom slabs.
  3. Spread Mustard: Spread Dijon mustard on both slabs.
  4. Layer Ingredients: On the bottom slab, layer half the cheese, then turkey, then the remaining cheese, and top with the upper slab.
  5. Prepare Egg Mixture: Whisk together melted butter and egg; brush over the roll tops.
  6. Bake: Cover loosely with foil (use toothpicks if needed), bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil; bake another 10 minutes until golden.
  7. Serve: Let cool a few minutes, slice into sliders, sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired, and serve with berry preserves.

Notes

  • Timing Tip: Use toothpicks to protect the top from sticking to foil.
  • Make-Ahead: Prepare and refrigerate before baking—just bake when ready to eat.
  • Flavor Balance: Don’t skip the preserves—they add a lovely sweet contrast.
